Communication training for NTNU staff

The Norwegian University of Science and Technology (NTNU) is Norway’s most exciting, innovative and largest university. NTNU’s goal is to create knowledge for a better world and solutions that can change everyday life.

On 1 January 2016, NTNU merged with the University Colleges of Ålesund, Gjøvik and Sør-Trøndelag. With such a change, education of staff is required.

Good communication is often the key to good solutions. But very often most people have a potential when it comes to communication skills and the awareness of how important communication really is. That is why NTNU and their partner Østlyng & Bjerke contacted us – to create an e-learning program within communication.
The e-learning program has been launched and the feedback is very good. The format combines film, cartoons and interactions. Humour is used a lot, and we are sure that many users recognize some scenarios from their daily life.

”The e-learning program has been very well received and has created the engagement we wanted. We had a very good cooperation with the creative and innovative team from Transform!”

The Monster wheel illustrates six different communication styles. You may recognize types as “the hero”, “the victim”, the “expert” and yeah…”the monster”.
Humour can be a powerful tool in learning, particularly when the subject invites for it. “Good with people” proves that communication training and humour play on the same side.

If you communicate well….

..the outcome will be great!

…You will face communication challenges…

…and solve them.
