Our actions determines how people perceive Oslo
Oslo Kommune wanted to develop a training program to teach ethical values to all the 43 000 employees working within the organisation. The challenge was to make something that the users could easily understand and relate to.
By basing the program around the concept that all employees are users of the municipal services in Oslo as well as being the providers of these services, we created a program that shows how one's actions directly affect people's perception of Oslo Municipality.
The program was developed in cooperation with the competence department, and together we found relevant scenarios where ethical standards were challenged. Each episode lasts between five and ten minutes, and it is up to the user to make the right decisions based on Oslo Municipality's codes of conduct. The program was very well received after it was launched November 2008.
